My Story
I have run my own business for over 10 years, and as an ambitious woman, I have struggled frequently with the stress and pressure of trying to do it all. Early on in my career I felt guilty if I wasn’t working 24/7 to build my business. I felt stressed because I wasn’t married yet or starting a family. I felt like I had to put my life on hold until I became successful. And I constantly felt overwhelmed, unsure, and confused if things didn’t go exactly as I imagined. Was I making the right decisions? Was I heading in the right direction? Why don’t I have life figured out yet?
We Are Not Alone
I became a part of a female entrepreneurship forum group in 2013, and it changed my life. I was surrounded by strong, inspiring women, and supported in the personal and professional struggles I was going through. And not alone! The guilt I felt if I didn’t work hard enough, the self-doubt that I wasn’t good enough to achieve my goals, and the feeling that I never had enough time for anything, let alone myself, was all shared by other women in this group. It was encouraging, liberating, and relieving all at once.
Why I Do This
After running a sales and career development company for over a decade, I wanted to do more. I wanted to coach and provide support to women in any industry who need what I needed back in 2013. I wanted to use and leverage my experience coaching in my own business and see how much of an impact I could make outside of it.
Who I Am
My value as a coach is that I’m real, genuine, and honest. I understand how people feel and I love providing the support that makes someone realize they are not alone. I’m experienced, strategic, and ambitious, and I love providing the guidance that helps people achieve their goals.
I believe that you don’t have to sacrifice your personal life for your professional success (and vice versa), and I work hard every day to feel great in both.
